Emma has specialised in employment law since she qualified in 2007. Recognised as a key lawyer within Draper Lang in the Legal 500 and ranked within the Chambers and Partners legal directory, Emma offers clear, straightforward and commercial advice, always seeking to support clients to achieve the best possible outcome.

Emma spent her early career in national Top 100 and Tier One Employment Law firms, including Gateley plc (as they are now) and Clarkslegal LLP. She joined Draper Lang in 2015 and has been a Partner and member of the LLP since 2018.

Emma is experienced in all aspects of employment law, and advises clients ranging from multinational businesses, SMEs and senior executives. She is approachable, efficient and responsive, whilst always taking the time to get to know her clients to achieve the best solution for their particular needs. This may be whilst navigating a particularly tricky exit, Tribunal claim, or managing a complex disciplinary, TUPE or restructuring programme.

Emma also enjoys creating and delivering training and has a particular interest in employee engagement. She has worked with organisations in developing employee forums and also restructuring relations with trade unions.
